Fragmented and Tattered

From tattered to fragmented the results remained the same... spectacular! ! !

In Sanford, at the Quilt Mixed Media and Fiber Event both Louise McClure and myself taught workshops after the show on Friday night.
Surrounded by fun loving women, Louise McClure and I soaked up the inspiration and ideas being tossed around as the workshops unfolded into a delightful evening.

Louise started out the evening with "Floral Fragments" wearable art, providing enough materials for everyone to complete 3 or 4 pieces. With heat tool and paints in hand, each of us shaped and designed our floral fragments using our own personal touches.

By the time my class started at 8:30-ish, we were ready for a no stress, no rules type of workshop. From tearing up colorful magazine pages to creating a funky bird, we all managed to get it together to complete our pieces.

What a great night in Sanford. Thanks to everyone who attended the show and thanks to our friends from the
Carolina Mixed Media Art Guild.

We are repeating the same 2 classes at
the
Quilt Fiber and Mixed Media Event in Statesville, NC on Jan. 28th at the Hampton Inn.
Book a room for the night, bring a friend, and come play... "Girls night out" "slumber party", workshop and sale!!!
You deserve a break!
